Kolovesi National Park

Lake Kolovesi and neighbouring lake Joutenvesi are a paradise for kayaking. Rugged rocky beaches, amazingly clear water and peacefulness are all the features of this unique national park / nature reserve in Finland. During a non-guided 5 days trip you will stay overnight in tents in tiny islands and see – if you are lucky enough – one of the closest to extinction and the most protected animal in Finland, the Saimaa ringed seal.

The length of the trip is 70km.

Tammisaari Archipelago National Park

Tammisaari Archipelago National Park is a real mosaic of tiny rocky islands on the Northern coast of Gulf of Finland. Sheltered by hundreds of islands, Tammisaari National Park is suitable for most paddlers, except of the highest winds. Tammisaari National Park offers some official peaceful camping-sites. Trips to Tammisaari Archipelago are non-guided as the camp-sites provide only limited facilities for tents.
